Be Kind to Your Mind
Be Kind to Your Mind
is a Queensland Health campaign to promote the mental health and wellbeing of individuals and communities in North Queensland.
Be Kind to Your Mind is a two year trial project. It uses television and radio advertising and local press to convey key messages around themes such as life balance, social support and connectedness. Community based strategies in four demonstration areas are also being coordinated to reinforce the campaign messages. The four demonstration areas are Innisfail, Moranbah, Mount Isa and Townsville.

- The Mentally Healthy WA campaign aims to improve mental health in six demonstration sites in regional Western Australia. It aims to encourage the whole population of these towns to: Act-Belong-Commit to improve individual resilience and community cohesion.

- provides a framework for promotion and prevention approaches to mental health that is specifically oriented to primary schools.

- is a national mental health initiative for secondary schools. It promotes a comprehensive, 'whole of school' approach to mental health and wellbeing, and aims to enhance the development of school environments where young people feel safe, valued, engaged and purposeful.
