Gold Coast Health Service District

The Gold Coast Health Service District provides all public mental health and ATODS (Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs) services on the Gold Coast. The Mental Health Service provides assessment, treatment and support to people who have a mental illness. Services are provided depending on individual need and ranges from inpatient treatment to support in the community.

Mater Child and Youth Mental Health Services

The Mater Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) provides help to young people living in the southern suburbs of Brisbane. There are three community clinics plus three services located at the Mater Hospital complex. All services are accessible by public transport.

Princess Alexandra Hospital

The Mental Health Service at the Princess Alexandra Hospital Health Service District is an integrated service linking inpatient services at the Hospital in Woolloongabba, with Community Mental Health Services at Annerley, Inala, and West End, enabling ease of access and continuity of care.

Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and Health Service District - Inner North Brisbane Mental Health Service

The RBWH Mental Health is one of the larger acute mental health services in Queensland. It is a statewide leader in clinical care, service models, teaching and research. The Service has direct links with the Discipline of Psychiatry University of Queensland.

Royal Children's Hospital & Health Service District

The Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) provides specialist mental health services for children and young people.

CYMHS combines hospital and community-based facilities to provide free consultation, assessment and treatment of children and young people experiencing serious mental health disorders and problems.

The Park - Centre for Mental Health

The Park- Centre for Mental Health, situated in the Brisbane suburb of Wacol, is a fully-accredited Tertiary Mental Health facility providing a diverse range of mental health services, including extended inpatient care, mental health research and education. Originally established in 1865 and formerly known as Wolston Hospital, The Park has long been one of the largest mental health facilities in Australia.

Queensland (1996), The Park - Centre for Mental Health has recently decentralised its extended care services to reflect a greater emphasis on rehabilitation and recovery. This continuous improvement project is a collaborative effort involving Queensland Health Corporate Office, the West Moreton Health District, and the staff and consumers of The Park.

The Townsville Health Service District Institute of Mental Health provides a range of mental health services, some specifically for the Townsville District, and others that are located in Townsville to meet the mental health needs of people living in the Northern Zone.

The Queensland Transcultural Mental Health Centre (QTMHC) is a statewide service which provides an information, referral, resource and clinical consultation service, to meet the needs of people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
