New Mental Health Services delivering essential support closer to home.
Queensland Health is currently undergoing significant change and expansion to services provided in mental health. These plans are being undertaken as part of the Queensland Plan for Mental Health 2007-2017, which provides a blueprint for reform and a commitment to delivering a better quality of life for people who live with mental illness, their families and carers.
This site contains information and updates on a number of new facilities being constructed to cater for the population serviced by Metro South Mental Health.
