The Statewide Multicultural Action Team coordinated and led the implementation of Queensland Health's Multicultural Action Plans 2005-06 and 2006-07.
In June 2007, Queensland Health established a permanent Statewide Multicultural Health Program, which replaced the temporary Statewide Multicultural Action Team. In June 2007, Queensland Health also endorsed the Strategic Plan for Multicultural Health 2007-2012. The major role of the Statewide Multicultural Health Program is to coordinate and lead the implementation of this Plan. Implementation reports are available.
Health Service Districts play a vital role in implementing the Queensland Health Strategic Plan for Multicultural Health 2007-2012. Implementation reports are available.

Peace and Harmony is the theme for the seventeenth annual Bundaberg Multicultural Festival. Organised by Bundaberg Rotary, a great day is guaranteed at the annual Multicultural Food and Wine Festival. Come along for a full day of entertainment for the whole family. Entertainment is provided on 6 separate stages near the river from 9am - 4pm. There is also a special childrens stage. The opening ceremony will include a procession of almost 50 flags from around the world, capped off with the release of 50 pigeons. |

The Ex-Servicemen’s grounds at 44 Holland Crescent offer plenty of shady pine trees to sit under whilst enjoying a cool drink from our bar which will be well supplied with "continental" beverages, and a bite to eat of some Polish, European and other ethnic delicacies. Apart from food stalls, arts, crafts and artifacts will also be sold. Coming to this year’s Festival will give you a chance to meet many Polish friends from Cleveland to the Gold Coast, Ipswich and Darra. |
