Queensland Health provides a wide range of statewide health services.  This link provides a list of some of these services.

Multicultural health services & programs Queensland 2006-07
This list of multicultural health services in Queensland has been compiled from the Queensland Multicultural Resource Directory 2006-07.  It contains organisations listed under ‘health’ in the directory.

Migrant service organisations Queensland 2006-07
Migrant service organisations provide assistance with settlement and related issues and are a good contact for community activities and events.  This list has been compiled from the Queensland Multicultural Resource Directory 2006-07.

Multicultural services with a special focus
There are many service organisation that have a specialty area or focus on a particular group in the community.  For example, there are aged care services, services for women, services for refugees and so forth.  These are listed below and have all been compiled from the Queensland Multicultural Resources Directory 2006-07.

Aged services 2006-07
These organisations provide a range of supports in people's own homes and/or in other residential settings and some also support the carers of aged persons.

Counselling services 2006-07
Counselling services can provide individual, couple or family support for a wide range of issues.  Some services can also provide emotional and counselling support over the telephone.

Refugee organisations and services 2006-07
These organisations provide a range of support and services to refugees, humanitarian entrants and refugee claimants. 

Women's organisations and services 2006-07
These organisations provide a wide range of services to women including health, legal, domestic violence support and information/referral.

Youth organisations and services 2006-07
These organisations provide a wide range of services to young people including support, recreation, advocay and emergency care.
