The Statewide Multicultural Health Program, Queensland Health, is currently developing a cross-cultural training program for staff. The program is one of the priority initiatives of Queensland Health's Multicultural Action Plan 2006-07. The training program will target administration/reception staff, patient liaison officers and clinical staff. The program will be trialled and implemented progressively in 2007.
