On Australia Day each year, the outstanding achievements of Australians are recognised and celebrated within the community. These celebrations are coordinated nationally by the National Australia Day Council.
As part of Australia Day celebrations, Queensland Health has recognised 36 individuals and teams across the state for their significant contributions made to improve the delivery of health services in Queensland-in special projects or core duties.
An awards ceremony for division award recipients will be held on Wednesday 25 January in Brisbane. Localised events will also be held for the district award recipients. Each award recipient will receive an Australia Day Achievement medallion and certificate.
