As a major specialist referral centre in the fields of cardiac-thoracic medicine and surgery along with psychiatry, aged and extended care, high calibre multidisciplinary research programs continue at and in conjunction with The Prince Charles Hospital.
The Office of Research and Ethics manages and coordinates the District Health and Medical Research and related development activities. It is the single point of contact for all matters relating to human and biomedical research and related developmental activities within the District.
