Conducted over 18 months participants will rotate through the five birthing centres within the Central Queensland Health Service District (Central Highlands, Woorabinda, Banana, Gladstone and Rockhampton). On successful completion of the Country to Coast Program, a permanent midwifery position will be negotiated in one of the birthing facilities within the District.
