To further streamline the process of single ethical review, a Central Coordinating Service (CCS) for multi-centre research projects being undertaken within the Queensland Department of Health and the Hospital and Health Services, has been established for all studies which would have been reviewed by more than one HREC prior to the introduction of single ethical review.
The CCS provides an online booking service which identifies and allocates applications to an appropriately NHMRC certified Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC):
Complete the booking form and email it to QHCCS@health.qld.gov.au for allocation to a certified HREC.
