Please be advised that HLT31407 Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support and HLT400507 Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support have now replaced the previous Certificate III and IV qualifications available prior to 2008.
The new qualifications under Certificate III and IV, aim to meet the need for preparatory, ongoing and higher education for pharmacy assistants. Both courses are made up of compulsory and elective units and are available via distance education through Charles Sturt University - the qualification provider.
The Queensland Health Pharmacy Assistants Subsidy Scheme provides 50% funding to successful applicants for the duration of their study.
Queensland Health staff are encouraged to apply for this subsidy via the following forms. Applicants are not required to complete the Charles Sturt University Enrolment Form.
Applicants not eligible to apply for the Queensland Health Pharmacy Assistants Subsidy Scheme are encouraged to visit the Charles Sturt University website for further information.
