About the Orientation and Induction Program

Your orientation and induction will be conducted during your first three months with Queensland Health.

You'll be provided will the information, necessary resources and support you need to help you to:

• settle in and quickly become productive in your workplace
• feel welcome and secure while adjusting to your new work environment
• understand your role in the department, including expected behaviours and responsibilities.

Induction information, such as key local contacts and facilities, will be available through your local line manager.

Queensland Health encourages its employees to become members of their unions. You will be contacted by a union delegate soon after you commence with us and we encourage you to meet with them.
