This site provides Welcome and Orientation information for new and prospective employees with a brief, personalised introduction to Queensland Health and its Area Health Services, Districts, Divisions and Branches.
Orientation is a staged process beginning with awareness of strategic objectives, structure and scope of operations, as well as a focus on mandatory topics. Links to more detailed information sources and further training will help new employees to become familiar with Queensland Health.
Induction information, such as key local contacts and facilities, will be available through employees' local line managers.
Queensland Health encourages its employees to become members of their unions. You will be contacted by a union delegate soon after you commence with us and we encourage you to meet with them.
