For all Princess Alexandra Hospital media enquiries, please phone (07) 3240 7899.  For urgent enquiries outside business hours please phone the hospital switchboard on (07) 3240 2111 and ask for the Executive member on-call.

Information for Patients

The hospital has a Media and Communications Unit that can help you with any media attention you may receive while in hospital.  We cannot release any information about patients without their prior written consent, except general information about the patient's condition (e.g. "good condition", "stable", "critical", etc).  Media must be accompanied by a Media and Communications staff member at all times while on the Princess Alexandra Hospital campus.
