Funding Opportunities for Research Projects

CHR e-Funding Bulletin

The Centres for Health Research e-Funding Bulletin is a free weekly information service for the PAH Research Community and is produced by the PAH Centres for Health Research.  This publication is a collaborative information service from a range of funding agencies.  Editions are presented in PDF format and the information is listed in closing date order.

The Centres office maintains a database of regular funding opportunities.  In addition attempts are made to notify groups and individuals of funding opportunities as they arise.

For the University of Queensland detailed information on internal and external funding opportunities can be obtained from the Office of Research and Postgraduate Studies at http://www.uq.edu.au/research/funding/

Funding is relatively limited but it is envisaged that it would cover return domestic airfares, accommodation and modest honorarium as appropriate.

It is hoped that eminent overseas clinicians and scientists who are attending Australian scientific meetings could be approached and recruited to "add on" a visit to PAH as part of their Australian itinerary.
