Infection Management Services provides infection control, infectious diseases management, sexual health and alternatite site infusion to Princess Alexandra Hospital.  The service also provides specialist infection management to Logan Hospital, Ipswich Hospital, QEII Jubilee Hospital, Redland Hospital and Wynnum Hospital.

The Infectious Diseases service provides consultation and management of inpatients with infectious diseases related problems. It sees patients in all of the hospitals and deals with all aspects of general infectious diseases, including HIV/AIDS, haematology, oncology, intensive care, specialised surgery and other branches of internal medicine. Inpatients are managed in the Infectious Diseases Unit in Ward 5D at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
