The Princess Alexandra Hospital Interpreter Services Unit facilitates the provision of professional accredited Interpreters for patients attending the hospital who are from Non-English Speaking Backgrounds, Deaf or Hearing Impaired. The service is provided free of charge to patients. We generally need 24 to 48 hours notice to book an interpreter but we also take urgent requests. We are also willing to do translations of documents.
