Candidate Support Officer

The Candidate Support Officer’s role is to coordinate the transition of employees from outside the District, including interstate and overseas, into the Princess Alexandra Hospital Health Service District (PAHHSD).

The focus of the role is orienting staff through strategies which will assist their relocation including, but not limited to, single point of communication, social and community contact, and to broker information to potential candidates and new employees on Real Estate Vacancy lists, Share Accommodation lists, educational facilities and community groups.

The Candidate Support Officer offers assistance to all new employees or potential candidates including Medical, Nursing and Allied Health staff.

Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a Tertiary Teaching Hospital with an international reputation in a number of areas.

Its statewide services include Renal Transplantation (Australia's largest service), Liver Transplantation (which has delivered ground breaking and world's first operations) and Spinal Injuries.
