Selection Process for Vacant Positions at the Princess Alexandra Hospital Health Service District


The Princess Alexandra Hospital Health Service District has adopted a competency-based model of recruitment and selection. Competency based recruitment allows us to examine job related skills and abilities as well as the workplace behaviours which have been identified as being essential for effective job performance.

 

The duties and responsibilities, workplace behaviours and other relevant information about each job is contained in the relevant position description. You should carefully read the Job Description before applying for the position.

 

For most positions, you will be required to provide written responses to assessment criteria which asks specific questions relating to the workplace behaviours and technical requirements of the position.

In addition, the selection panel will perform referee checks with the referees you nominate in your resume. When applying for a position at the Princess Alexandra Health Service District you are required to include the names and contact details of TWO referees.
