Aim |
The objective of this course is to prepare presenters to deliver training in Human Error and Patient Safety (HEAPS) courses which have been developed to introduce healthcare workers and managers to the practical management of human error in the workplace. The fundamental principles of HEAPS is to change the culture of health care workers from one of 'blame and shame' to one of pro-active and constructive analysis of the broader 'systems' issues. |

The HEAPS Faculty/Advisory group consists of HEAPS content experts and 'champions' committed to improving patient safety. Their role is to advice on the development and maintenance of the Quality Improvement Framework for HEAPS training courses. |
