Health Management Protocols (HMP) outline the situations and conditions under which the drugs, listed in the Drug Therapy Protocols (DTP) for Isolated Practice Area Paramedics, may be administered and/or supplied by Isolated Practice Area Paramedics on a Medical Officer’s instruction, unless otherwise stated.
Isolated Practice Area Paramedics must be authorised to practise under the DTP, this requires the successful completion of an approved course5 and approval by Queensland Ambulance Service
