Interpretive Guidelines

A 'context statement' outlining the nature or status of the District with regards to any significant organisational change or event at the time of survey implementation is found in the introduction to the District report and should be considered simultaneously with survey results.
Response rates of 30% or higher are considered to be a reliable sample of a survey group. Data from specific work groups or occupational streams that have not achieved a response rate of 30% should interpreted with caution.
Results are reported in the following range format:

	-	The nature of aggregated results means organisations expect to see results within 20%-80%.
	-	Positive indicators (eg: level of job satisfaction) should ideally be in the upper band
	-	Negative indicators (eg: level of individual distress) should ideally be in the lower band

Detailed results for specific work units and occupational streams are only available if more than 10 staff members from the specific group completed the survey. This helps to ensure survey results remain anonymous.
