Health Promotion Unit
The Health Promotion Unit is responsible for providing health promotion advice and developing health promotion policies and programs at the statewide level. We coordinate the involvement of population health services in national and state programs that have a health promotion focus. We also contribute health promotion expertise to the work of other parts of Queensland Health.
We build and maintain partnerships with other groups and organisations, with the aim of enhancing physical and social environments to better support health and to encourage Queenslanders to adopt healthy attitudes and behaviours.
