Queensland Tuberculosis Control Centre

The Queensland Tuberculosis Control Centre coordinates the management and control of tuberculosis (TB) in Queensland. We are also responsible for the surveillance of non-tuberculous mycobacterial disease and Leprosy.

Key functions

Provide expert advice on the state of TB and leprosy control.  This advice highlights the large proportion of high risk groups affected by these diseases (eg. Indigenous Australians, certain migrant populations, etc).
