The Project Team

Kim Le Gros

Kim graduated from the University Of Southern Queensland, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and has completed a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Griffith University. He has a background in the disability area and currently works as a Child Psychologist in Community Child Health. Kim’s research areas include childhood anxiety, obesity and parental mental health.

Paul Rushton

Paul is a Psychologist and managing Director of PRA Consulting. He has held academic appointments at Griffith University, Gold Coast Campus and Bond University. He has extensive experience in clinical Psychology and Health Service management. He has held positions of Manager and Senior Psychologist with the Gold Coast Integrated Mental Health Service. He has presented at International and National conferences on research programs for the application of groups for IPT for chronic depression and PTSD. He has presented over twenty five workshops on IPT in four different countries including Singapore and New Zealand.

Michalle Wright

Michalle is the research consultant for the program and is completing a PhD at Griffith University, Gold Coast campus. She has a particular interest in clinically based research aimed at improving the mental health of children, teenagers and parents. Michalle’s PhD research is aimed at increasing current understanding of adolescent depression. She is also a clinical Psychologist who works primarily with children, adolescents and families.
