Queensland Centre for Mental Health Learning

The Queensland Centre for Mental Health Learning (QCMHL) is a new state wide service which aims to be a leader in mental health education and training in Australia.
The QCMHL is directed by a Strategic Advisory Board. It will:

Provide leadership and direction to ensure education is consumer focused and recovery oriented.

Support the implementation of the National and State Mental Health Policies and Plans.

Play a key role in progressing the state's mental health reform agenda through proactively educating the community about mental health issues.

Provide a range of programs that address education requirements of Queensland Health, other government departments, non government organisations, consumers and carers.

Be based across multiple sites throughout Queensland including The Park - Centre for Mental Health (based in the West Moreton South Burnett Health Service District), the Skills Development Centre (based in the Royal Brisbane and Women's Health Service District), and at the Queensland Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health (based in Cairns).
The Strategic Advisory Board approved QCMHL framework requires that all programs fit within the following strategies:
