Queensland Country Relieving Doctors Program

Queensland Country Relieving Doctors (QCRD) has been in operation for over 35 years, with thousands of Queensland Resident Medical Officers (RMOs) participating in the program. The aim of QCRD is to provide relief for annual, conference or study leave to Queensland's rural medical staff. The service provided through QCRD is a valuable asset to Queensland Health and Queensland's rural communities.

Periods of relief vary but can be as short as one week, depending on the amount of relief that the rural practitioner has been approved to take.
