Patient Accounts: Two Easy Payment Options

Option 1: Pay First   Option 2: Claim First
Make payment directly to QHPSS using any of the payment methods shown below, then take your receipted invoice to a Medicare office to claim your rebate. If these services were provided whilst you were in hospital, the balance may be claimable from your private health insurer.   Detach the 'Payment Advice' from your account and send the top portion of the invoice to Medicare with your completed Medicare form. Medicare will send you a cheque which you can then forward to QHPSS together with the Payment Advice, the bottom half of the Medicare statement of benefit and any additional amount due.

Patient Accounts: Payment Methods

Patients who have received an account for pathology tests may pay their accounts by:

Call 1800 309 302 8:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday (free call from any fixed line phone anywhere in Australia).

Please have the invoice number/s and credit card details handy before dialling.

Phone payments can be made using Visa, Mastercard and Bankcard.

  

Send to 07 3000 9303 (outside Australia, send to +61 7 3000 9303).

Fax payments can be made using VISA, Mastercard and Bankcard.

   Have you claimed from Medicare first?

No, I haven't claimed first: Detach the 'Payment Advice' on the bottom of your account and with your cheque, money order or credit card details, and post to:
