GP Connect - Supporting continuity of care in Queensland

GP Connect is a proven, secure system that delivers electronic Pathology Queensland results to a wide range of practice management software products. More than 5000 doctors in 1000 practices around the state already use the service. The system utilises HL7 v2.3.1 messaging standards and can also accommodate products requiring PIT format.

Electronic pathology results can be sent to General Practices or Specialists throughout Queensland that have internet access or access to the Queensland Health network.

The GP Connect service is supported by a central result enquiries service, where participating doctors may request copies of results from any Pathology Queensland laboratory.

Results Enquiries Service

The GP Connect result enquiry line is 1300 856 344, Monday to Friday, between 8am and 5pm, available only to participating practices.
