List of Approved Medicines (LAM) - 1 April 2012 (PDF, 1.86MB) is the official statewide formulary for medicines approved for use in all Queensland Health public hospitals and institutions.
Medicines are listed in the LAM in alphabetical order, using their generic names, with restrictions that have been applied to their use, along with PBS details including restrictions, where applicable. (Note: the LAM does NOT include all medicines listed on the PBS).
The LAM also contains important policies related to ordering and use of medicines in its introductory section, as well as relevant information in a number of Appendices. This document is updated every 2 months.
Note that this document is 1.86MB, and may take some time to download. Smaller sections of the complete document are available for slower connections: see sections below.
