Queensland Health's Forensic and Scientific Services, based at Coopers Plains in Brisbane, offers a Coronial Counselling Service and provides information and counselling to families of people whose death has been reported to a Queensland Coroner.
The Counselling Service is free and staffed by a team of social workers and psychologists who specialise in working with people affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a relative.
Counselling is available Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4.30 pm.
