Teaching

Clinical and Statewide Services supports teaching in pathology and applied sciences across Australia, China, Africa and South East Asia.

Teaching and tutorial services for the following career groups:

• Graduate and post graduate Medicine
• Pathology
• Science
• Medical Laboratory Science
• Nursing including phlebotomy training
• Infection Control
• Epidemiology

We offer a broad range of short training courses such as:

• Nutrient analysis in water and wastewater
• Cyanobacteria (Blue Green Algae) and their toxins in water
• Tracing sewage plumes

and are happy to deliver custom training courses anywhere as required.

Examples of delivered training:

• Environmental Impact of Air Pollution (Brunei)
• Hazardous Chemical incidents and their mitigation (Malaysia)
• Quality training (Mozambique)

We have hosted more than 20 placements since 1995 for trainees from Ethiopia, Malaysia, Mozambique, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Uganda (funded by AusAID, ACIAR, APFAN, Commonwealth Secretariat (London), International Government Agencies, UNDP, WHO)
