Repay loans and overpayments in a few clicks! (new)

Many Queensland Health staff members have asked for an easier way to proactively repay their loans and overpayments.

With Payroll Self Service (PSS) you can now make a lump sum or periodic payment from your:

Supporting documents include:

Lose the paper - go green!

Before Payroll Self Service more than 100,000 A4 pages and 93,000 envelopes were used each fortnight to print and distribute payslips–equivalent to 24 tonnes of paper each year.

Paper payslips are being phased out from 20 November 2013 for PSS registered users, all Department of Health employees and new staff. This will help to reduce the amount of paper and number of envelopes used to print and distribute payslips each fortnight.

All HHS staff not yet registered for PSS will continue to receive paper payslips until registered. Work with the Hospital and Health Services continues to ensure all staff members have access to PSS.

Coming soon to PSS

PSS will continue to evolve with new services. The next new service will be forms tracking online - download, submit and track online payroll and HR forms, such as leave forms, providing greater transparency for everyone.

PSS registration

Visit http://pss.health.qld.gov.au and enter your Person ID and unique registration token, a security code which is located at the end of your latest payslip.

If you require support please contact the Statewide Hotline on 1800 239 074 (8 am–6 pm, Monday to Friday).

Web browsers

PSS is supported by most web browsers; however we can't support them all. If you are using an out dated or unsupported web browser, you may find that PSS does not work properly.
