Spinal Injuries Unit Outpatient Services

The Spinal Injuries Unit Outpatients Department offers specialist medical clinics for people who have sufferred a spinal cord injury with resultant neurological deficits (i.e. paralysis). We also run an adult service for people wth spina bifida. (These clinics do not provide services for people with orthopaedic conditions such as disc disease or back pain.)

Referral to SIU Outpatients

A referral from your local medical officer (GP) is required if you are attending the clinic for the first time or if it has been two years or more since you were last seen at the clinic. Referrals should be sent to the :
