Treatment pathway

If you suspect you may have TB or have been in contact with someone who does have TB, refer to the following steps:

  1. If you have no active symptoms and/or your doctor recommends TB screening, make an appointment for TB tests
  2. Review test results with nurse (two to three days later)
  3. If needed, see  the doctor to confirm diagnosis and treatment
  4. If diagnosed with TB, start treatment and ongoing monitoring.
