Diagnosis of Tuberculosis (TB): Step 2 of 4

Review test results

Once your tuberculin test (Mantoux test) and/or blood test has been done, you will need to make an appointment  two to three days later with a clinic nurse to test your reaction. Based on your test results, the nurse will decide the next step.

In some cases, the nurse may make an appointment for you to see the doctor who will confirm whether you have a TB infection or active TB disease.

If at any time you have symptoms of active TB, seek medical help quickly or contact us to ensure early diagnosis and treatment.
