Queenslanders Donate is a division of Queensland Health and co-ordinates all deceased organ and tissue donation across Queensland.
Queenslanders Donate was formed in 1999 following wide consultation with experts in the field of organ and tissue donation and transplantation. The program combines the strengths of other organ/tissue donation models but takes into account the vast geographical area of the State. We practice according to the Transplantation and Anatomy Act 1979.
Our Mission
To maximise organ and tissue donation rates to promote a healthier Queensland.
Aims

Maximise the opportunity for organ and tissue donation.

Increase education and awareness in the community about the benefits of organ and tissue donation for transplantation.
