Any person who uses dental diagnostic radiation apparatus for dental diagnostic radiography must hold an appropriate use licence issued under the Radiation Safety Act 1999. To apply for a licence, the following steps should be followed:

Submit the completed application form, with verification of qualifications and experience as requested by the following licensing criteria information sheet, to Radiation Health. The prescribed fee must accompany the application.
