Vision and Mission

Our vision is to be a world class academic tertiary and quaternary health centre taking care of our community.

RBWH will provide peak services in tertiary and quaternary care and will ensure that all secondary and primary care is provided for in close proximity to the patients’ local catchment area.

Our mission is to provide knowledge-led world class care, education, training and research, based on eight key principles:

Customer Service and Patient Satisfaction

By providing and maintaining high quality health care and services, we strive for excellence in customer service and are committed to best practice and the continual quality improvement of services. All customers are treated equally, regardless of their status or benefit eligibility. Our focus is to involve customers in health care delivery, ensuring their needs are met. Processes such as patient satisfaction surverys, conducting client focused interviews and general dicussions are adopted. Feedback is valuable to help identify areas for improvement and of achievement.

We have a Patient/Staff Liaison Officer who can explain hospital processes and assist with concerns or complaints.
