Hospital chaplains of various religious faiths visit wards regularly. If you wish to arrange the services of a minister of religion please ask the ward staff. Even if you say no to a chaplain visit initially, you can still ask to see a chaplain if your situation changes.
A number of the wards in the hospital also have ward chaplains, who are available to patients regardless of religious affiliation. Regular chapel services also take place in the hospital chapel/prayer room and televised free to patients on channel 5.
Bibles are available on request - your nurse can contact the Chaplains to have one delivered to you.
