Printing Services
Printing Services provides a high volume printing and photocopying service to the Herston Hospitals Complex, Oral Health Services and other off-site institutions with an annual output of approximately five million prints.

Intranet/Internet Services
The Electronic Publishing Team is responsible for developing, maintaining and updating the RBWH Internet site and RBWH and Metro North Health Service District Intranet.
The RBWH has a presence on the Queensland Health Internet site. The purpose of placing information on the Internet is to provide information access to the General Public and Health Service Providers relating to the RBWH. Business Units are provided with an opportunity to contribute towards the content contained within the RBWH Internet site.
Core activities include:

RBWH intranet and internet web development, publishing, critiquing, performance review and approval processes

Publisher support, development and training
-
Identification of key resources and establishing processes to improve access to these

Resource and infrastructure planning, management and evaluation
-
District representation and advocacy
-
High level reporting, including statistical information relating to each site
-
Working closely with relevant bodies (Information Services / QH Information Management Unit) to ensure the appropriate development of infrastructure and that service requirements are specified and met
-
Communication with internal, Queensland Health and external stakeholders
-
Planning, implementation and review of service evaluation strategies.
The RBWH Intranet can be accessed by staff who are located on the Herston Campus and/or who are serviced by Information Division - Herston. Any Business Unit of the RBWH can publish to the RBWH Intranet, however, this needs to be negotiated with the Principal District Electronic Publisher.
