Internal Medicine Services provides a comprehensive clinical service for inpatients in the Brisbane area and referral services for hospitals and medical practitioners in Queensland, Northern New South Wales and neighbouring countries in the Pacific.
The service line also has a major role in undergraduate and postgraduate education programs for heath professionals. This is supported through joint appointments with the Department of Medicine and the University of Queensland.
