Nuclear Medicine and Queensland PET Services
The Department of Nuclear Medicine provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic scans and therapeutic procedures and is the largest Nuclear Medicine Department in Queensland. Services include cardiac stress testing facilities, bone mineral density testing and a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved radiopharmaceutical laboratory.
The Queensland PET Service is a state-wide Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Service, located at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. It is comprised of a comprehensive suite of PET radiopharmaceutical production, manufacturing and imaging capabilities.
