A range of general plastic and reconstructive surgery is offered. This includes repair of tissue damage treatment of major tissue loss (often associated with orthopaedic injuries), hand surgery including re-plantation, microsurgical free flaps (muscle and myocutaneous), facial injuries, skin, intra-oral and head and neck cancers, reconstructive breast surgery, aesthetic plastic surgery, cranio-facial surgery, pressure sores and general reconstructive surgery.
Specialty Outpatient Clinics in general plastic surgery, maxillofacial surgery, microsurgery and head and neck oncology are also available. Consultative services are offered to other specialty areas in the hospital and joint clinics are run with the Division of Oncology for skin malignancy and with the Division of Oncology and Otorhinolaryngology for head and neck tumours.
