Advice for general public: 13 HEALTH
The general public may obtain health advice by accessing Queensland Health's telephone advisory service 13 HEALTH (13 43 25 84), or go to their website.

Queensland Poisons Information Centre
The role of the Queensland Poisons Information Centre is to provide the public and health professionals of Queensland with prompt, up-to-date and appropriate information and advice to assist in the management of poisonings and suspected poisonings.

The Queensland Poisons Information Centre can be contacted on 13 11 26.

RCH Department of Emergency Medicine Telephone Advice Line
While it is not possible to diagnose many conditions reliably over the telephone, members of the public may contact the RCH Emergency Department's Telephone Advice Line for general advice on 07 3636 8085.
