The RCH is one of Australia’s leading teaching and research hospitals and we are currently a tertiary referral centre.

The RCH is currently based on the outskirts of Brisbane which is the Capital City of Queensland.  Brisbane is Australia’s fastest growing Metropolitan region in Australia and has retained it’s characteristic welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.  As an added bonus it is only an hours drive to both the Sunshine and Gold Coasts.

The people of Brisbane enjoy a fantastic subtropical climate with average daily temperatures between 15 and 25 degrees celcius.  The weather is mainly fine and sunny with around 230 clear days per year.  Top that off with an average of eight hours of sunshine a day and you are looking at a perfect lifestyle choice.
