The Department provides inpatient and outpatient care of children with renal and urological problems including:
Target population
Services are offered to new patients who are up to 14 years old.
Research
The Department has an active research program in both clinical and basic science areas. Contact the department to obtain further information on current projects.
Referral
A medical referral is required.
Contact the Royal Children’s Hospital Public Specialist Outpatient Service for public outpatient referral.
Contact the Royal Children’s Hospital’s Private Practice clinic to access outpatient services for private patients.
Medical practitioners may telephone the hospital switch on 07 3636 8111 and page the Paediatric Nephrologist for urgent consultations or new patients.
