Education and research at the Royal Children's Hospital is vital in ensuring the best possible health outcomes for children and young people are met now and in the future.

Each year the RCH provides more than 20,000 episodes of care, including care in specialist areas such as:

• burns
• liver transplant
• oncology
• paediatric surgery
• rehabilitation
• respiratory medicine
• trauma services for some of Queensland's most critically ill children.

At the RCH we are training the next generation of paediatric clinicians and health care specialists.

Through grants, partnerships, government funding and the Royal Children's Hospital Foundation we are able to invest in research to help find the answers to a range of child and adolescent health issues.
