Stephen Duckett, an economist, the Chief Executive of the Centre for Healthcare Improvement. He was Secretary of the Australian Health Department from 1994 - 1996 and has held leadership positions in the Victorian Health Department, at La Trobe University and as Chair of the Boards governing The Alfred and the Brotherhood of St Laurence. He is a member of the National Health and Hospitals Reform Commission.
