Community

Engaging the local community to develop their hospital is vital to its success.

Community Reference Group

The Community Reference Group consists of 15 community representatives from across the Sunshine Coast and Gympie. The group meets bi-monthly and provides advice for the development of the project and assists with community awareness of the project facts.

Community engagement opportunities

As the project progresses, so will the opportunities to participate in events, workshops and forums. Upcoming engagement activities will be listed on this website as the project progresses.

The Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service welcomes the opportunity to provide project updates to various community groups including the local Chambers of Commerce, Rotary and Lions Clubs.
